General information and Terms & Conditions

 

We are not responsible for any damage caused by the nature of your garment which cannot be detected during our expert inspection (e.g. damage caused by insufficient strength of the fabric and seams, insufficient fastness of dyes and prints, shrinkage, impregnation, previous improper handling, hidden foreign bodies and other hidden defects).

If necessary, please contact the manufacturer directly.

 

We work exclusively after payment in advance, that means:


Once we have received payment of our invoice, we will begin treatment of your garment according to your wishes.

Please send your garment, bag, etc. to us by parcel service. We cannot accept items delivered by hand to our workshop in Essen.

We will return your garment via parcel service (e.g. by DPD, DHL shipping, etc.). This is at your expense against payment of the indicated shipping costs. Delivery will be made to the delivery address you provide. Self-collection is not possible. (We do not deliver to Switzerland and other countries with customs inspection!)

With your order, you expressly allow us to pass on your personal data to the respective parcel service provider.

If the parcel service returns your garment to us stating that it was not possible to complete the delivery, we will send you a message requesting your written instructions. If you do not provide instructions within the specified period, the package and its contents will be disposed of 6 months after the deadline expires.

We do not accept any liability for damage and loss incurred during shipping. Please contact the parcel service directly. Check your parcel immediately upon delivery. Please be aware that any damage should be noted at the time of delivery and proof of damage made. Please register any visible damage on the delivery receipt or delivery device of the parcel service and report the damage directly to the parcel service.

In the event of defects in our reworking or sewing work, you should immediately send us details of the defect with corresponding proof to; Witra Logistics in Essen (hotline +49 - 160 - 931 47 695 / Mon - Fri from 12 a.m. to 3 p.m.) or to the following email address This email address is being protected from spambots. In the event of loss of a garment entrusted to our/Witra Logistics care, or on any other legal grounds, we shall only be liable for financial compensation up to the current market value of the garment. We shall only be liable for damage caused by our treatments in the event of wilful intent or gross negligence up to the amount of the current value of the garment. In all other cases, our further liability shall be limited to 5 times the price of treatment. In order to determine the current market value, the cash receipt for the item sent to us must be submitted.

We charge a handling fee of €17.85 (incl. 16% VAT) for each returned untreated item (plus shipping costs). Please note that we also charge for professional destruction of your garments, should you request.

Please understand that we cannot provide the handling, goods inspection, packaging and shipping services free of charge. These costs are incurred for each item we receive.
